The two exhibition pavilions by Arend Groosman are just like a large ingenious construction set. When you disassemble al elements. It’s possible to immediately create something completely new. Like a new pavilion or even chairs, cabinets and tables.
The way in which the pavilions are constructed shows that Arend is fascinated by architecture and transformable systems . For over a decade he has been investigating mobile and flexible building systems from which he can create sculptures and furniture. Through this process he has created the ultimate construction system: 24mm. The exhibition pavilions were constructed using this system.
