Black box

The project Black Box consists of three building elements. Arend Groosman designed forty different elements of which he used three elements to be produced on a small scale. This system, as are most of the other systems used by Arend Groosman, is one of the results of the search for Transformable Modular Architecture (MTA). Because the constructions which can be created with the black box system surprised Arend Groosman in shape, logic and association, he produced a couple of building systems and used these to do research into spatial forms. The constructions and objects that can be created through this are reminiscent of forgotten cultures, temples, mighty architecture and science fiction.
